First Insight is looking for a top-tier candidate for the Marketing Manager role to join our highly collaborative marketing team. The ideal candidate has proven marketing skills, is highly organized and an excellent problem solver, is creative and energetic, and has experience working and thriving in a fast-paced environment.
Execute a proactive global marketing plan for First Insight that supports our business goals, brand vision, and positioning.
Manage First Insight’s PR Firm. Drive First Insight’s PR strategy and execution with our PR firm to build thought leadership programs, drive awards and speaking engagements, and develop creative campaigns to generate media placement and mindshare.
Develop and execute the trade show and event strategy.
Lead and manage the blog ideation and execution process.
Develop and produce presentations to support the sales process, webinars, and speaking opportunities.
Build and drive the social media presence of First Insight.
Drive the evolution of First Insight’s web site. Update and maintain messaging and content.
Drive our external messaging and positioning to all stakeholder groups, and ensure the consistency of our messaging across all channels.
Support First Insight’s marketing team on key initiatives, including product launches and marketing campaigns.
Liaise with and manage third party providers.
Prioritize and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
4+ years of experience in business-to-business marketing management, preferably with software marketing experience. Proven success as a marketing manager. Retail market knowledge is preferred.
Broad experience with all phases of outbound marketing. Start-up experience is a plus.
Proven ability to manage external agencies (e.g. PR, advertising, exhibits).
Proficiency in writing concise, effective copy across the marketing mix.
Experience and demonstrated success in web site development and management
Up to speed with current marketing techniques and best practices. Thorough knowledge of web analytics (e.g. Google Analytics, WebTrends etc.) and Google Adwords.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including PowerPoint and Excel.
Self-starter, team player, with high energy and an ability to inspire those around him or her. Ability and desire to think strategically as well as execute tactically. Strong organizational skills.
Undergraduate degree in marketing or related field preferred; MBA a plus.
Resides in (or able to relocate to) Pittsburgh, PA.
